Dr. Joanna Shaffer is a general pediatrician born and raised in South Jersey. She earned her medical degree from UMDNJ-SOM in 2013 and completed her pediatric residency at Cooper University Hospital in 2016. For the past eight years prior to joining Advocare Atrium Pediatrics, she has dedicated her practice to caring for families in Wilmington, Delaware. Dr. Shaffer is happily married with two young children. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading, visiting National Parks, and traveling while spending time with her family and beloved dogs.
