Often we can give advice that will help you manage an issue at home and save you hours of time and significant expense by avoiding an ER or urgent care visit.   

For instance, did you know it takes 12-24 hours for an antibiotic to start helping with an ear infection?   Or that rapid strep tests frequently don't pick up a strep throat infection if you test too soon after the sore throat emerges?
